Smart Villages Training for Clonmany, Cloontagh, Ballyliffin, Urris, Rashenny & Environs

IDP is offering communities across Inishowen the opportunity to undertake a 6-session Smart Villages online training course. This training is part of a wider programme under LEADER being rolled out to 400 communities throughout
Ireland to offer steps and tools to help structure community development, bring in new volunteers,
and collaborate with other projects to create a Smart Village Plan for the area.

Going forward, more of our villages and communities across Inishowen will also be offered training.

The EU has determined that all future grant funding needs to align with smart
village principles – collaboration, knowledge sharing, using local assets, and efficiencies of digital tools.

Start Date: Monday 7th February 2022 (until 21st March)

Duration: 90 mins (x 6 weeks)

Cost: FREE
