Reporting to the ICT Manager, you will provide high-quality IT solutions that encompass administration, networking, telecoms, software, training and security issues. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your career with an innovative company.
As a Deskside Support Engineer, you will: –
- Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
- Provide an outstanding troubleshooting and technical resolution service
- Support VOIP phone system
- Support internal and external users
- Utilise remote access software to identify and resolve issues
- Engage with customers
- Deskside support for all devices
- Management of door access and employee ID passes
- Communicate with 3rd party vendors
Essential Criteria:
- At least two years’ experience in a similar deskside support role
- Be efficiently organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks
- Proficiency using Windows deskside and server platforms, including Active Directory, Office 365, MS Office and networking technologies.
- Excellent communication and documenting skills
- Self-motivated and results orientated
