An excellent opportunity for a practice trained accountant to join an established and progressive firm. We are looking for an experienced accountant who wants to progress within our existing team.
Key requirements for this role include:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in practice.
- Qualified or qualified by experience.
- Highly motivated with the ability to manage and train own team with a varied portfolio of clients, projects, and work.
- Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.
- Ability to work well under pressure and effectively manage simultaneous assignments to meet deadlines and targets.
- Strong IT skills, familiar with SME accounts packages and related technology, and ideally have experience of implementing new systems with clients.
- An interest in financial services would also be an advantage.
- A proactive approach to client service and business development.
- A knowledge of UK taxes would be an advantage.
