Deckside Support Engineer

Reporting to the ICT Manager, you will provide high-quality IT solutions that encompass administration, networking, telecoms, software, training and security issues. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your career with an innovative company.

As a Deskside Support Engineer, you will: –

  • Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
  • Provide an outstanding troubleshooting and technical resolution service
  • Support VOIP phone system
  • Support internal and external users
  • Utilise remote access software to identify and resolve issues
  • Engage with customers
  • Deskside support for all devices
  • Management of door access and employee ID passes
  • Communicate with 3rd party vendors

Essential Criteria:

  • At least two years’ experience in a similar deskside support role
  • Be efficiently organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Proficiency using Windows deskside and server platforms, including Active Directory, Office 365, MS Office and networking technologies.
  • Excellent communication and documenting skills
  • Self-motivated and results orientated
