Inishowen Development Partnership (IDP) is hiring a Development Officer – Lifelong Learning & Enterprise. This job will support individuals—particularly those experiencing disadvantage—to access lifelong learning.
It will also include self‑employment supports and enterprise development.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver workshops that build digital, employment, and business skills.
- Support individuals to access accredited and non‑accredited learning opportunities.
- Provide one‑to‑one guidance on business planning and lifelong learning pathways.
- Assist people applying for BTWEA, STEA and other enterprise supports.
- Coordinate INBusiness events and tailored training based on employer needs.
- Manage reporting, data entry and SICAP Goal 2 requirements.
Requirements:
- A Level 8 qualification in Business Development, Education, Community Development, or a related field.
- Three years’ experience in education, business development, enterprise support or training delivery.
- Strong communication, facilitation and planning skills.
- A full clean driving licence and access to a car.
Contract: Fixed term to December 2028
