Ashley Martin are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team in Carndonagh, Co. Donegal. This is a full-time, office-based role within a supportive, family-run business with over 40 years’ experience. The role is hands-on, covering a mix of finance and general office responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process sales and purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes where applicable
- Record and allocate payments and receipts
- Assist with bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support payroll processing, including time and attendance information
- Prepare monthly time-keeping, cost, and job cost reports using the current Vantage system
- Assist with month-end reporting and basic financial analysis
- Monitor and manage petty cash
- Prepare reports and summaries for management as required
- Prepare and issue quotations
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding invoices and queries
- Maintain accurate financial records, filing systems, and staff training records
- Organise weekly accommodation bookings for site crews
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the finance team and wider office
Work Environment
- Office-based role in Carndonagh, Co. Donegal
- Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 2:00pm Friday
- Salary based on experience
