Full Time
Reporting directly to the Senior Manufacturing Engineers whilst working closely with company Engineering and Production departments your duties will encompass a diverse range of functions including:
- Providing support to the Sheet Metal – Copper- & Moulding Production teams
- Providing regular reports on production, costings and performance
- Producing production status information to internal customers
- Ensuring deadlines are met in a timely manner
- New Switchgear Product Development
- Detailed design and planning of specialist components
- Approval of prototypes and preparation for manufacture
- Scheduling and document control
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- A HND or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- OR
- 3 years relevant experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Candidates should be PC literate, with proven working knowledge of ACAD .Solidworks. or later editions
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Knowledge of 3D AutoCad, Pro E or Solid Edge, Solid Works would be an advantage
In addition the successful candidate will be:
- Familiar with Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, Outlook
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of Sheet Metal, Injection Moulding process functions.
