Quality Technician – Buncrana

Inishowen Engineering require a Quality Technician to join their team at its Manufacturing facility at Shandrum, Buncrana, Co. Donegal, F93 NY98

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products, which are essential to our commitment to excellence in service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a background in quality assurance or quality control, along with strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Document inspection results and variances, and prepare reports for management review.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for process improvements based on inspection findings.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks on production processes to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Assist in the auditing process for ISO Standards : ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quality Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Certification in quality control or inspection (e.g., ISO 9001) is an advantage.
  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering or relevant experience in related industries.
  • Proficient in Solid Work, Auto Cad, Xcel, Word.
