Londis Drung, Quigley’s Point, is currently inviting applications for a retail assistance within the store. Reporting to the Store Supervisor, the successful candidates will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming shopping experience for all customers.
Working Hours: Flexible shifts including evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately operate the till, handling cash, card, and contactless payments
• Provide friendly, helpful, and professional customer service
• Authorise fuel transactions and monitor forecourt activity
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-presented shop and counter area
• Replenish shelves and rotate stock as required
• Carry out basic cleaning duties, including spill management and waste disposal
• Adhere to all health and safety, security, and age-restricted sales procedures
• Report any issues, faults, or suspicious activity to management
• Open and/or close the store when required, following set procedures
• Provide deli cover when required as part of the role
Skills & Experience
• Previous retail or cashier experience desirable but not essential
• Comfortable handling money and using a till system
• Friendly, calm, and approachable manner with customers
• Trustworthy and reliable with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently during quieter periods
• Basic numeracy and communication skills
