Trade Counter Sales person

PD Plumbing in Cockhill, Buncrana are hiring a Trade Counter Sales person to join their team, specialising within the heating and plumbing industry.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Serving Customers at the Trade Counter
  • Reaching sales targets
  • Answering Sales Calls
  • Answering emails promptly
  • Contacting potential Customers in the area to create sales and build relationships
  • Dealing with phone and counter enquiries and keeping a record of all the enquiries
  • Process incoming sales orders in time
  • Process cash and credit card transactions
  • Using in-house computer software system
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder when required
  • Liaise with suppliers and ensure appropriate records are maintained
  • Responsible for merchandise displays
  • Assist with checking in goods, label and allocate to designated areas
  • Participate in staff and product training as and when required upskilling
  • Preparing customer quotations
  • Helping out in the warehouse when necessary, picking orders
  • Providing a knowledgeable service to ensure customer demands are met
  • Processing orders through the computer system
  • Co-ordinate with the purchasing, warehouse and transport teams to ensure complete order processing
  • Maintain orderly records of all despatch, pod’s and picking dockets
  • Work closely with colleagues on the internal sales desks across all product portfolios
  • Resolving queries with customers directly or via the sales team and come to a successful conclusion
  • Completion of other sales and administrative tasks relating to the sale and distribution of products to the customer base
  • Handle returns or complaints
  • Must Have a full driving licence and fluent English speaker
