Due to continued growth, Diorite Ireland Ltd is seeking to recruit a trainee stone processor. This role would generally suit someone from a carpentry, joinery, stonemason or engineering background.
The candidate should be competent and reliable. He/she should possess a practical set of skills in using power tools and able to read plans/working drawings such as CAD to extract information would be advantageous
Desirable:
- Relevant work experience or studies may be considered.
- Previous hands-on experience cutting, wood products and/or polishing and fitting quartz or stone surfaces.
- Full driving licence.
- NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry and Joinery.
- CSR Card (Safe pass).
- CNC experience preferred.
- Forklift operations experience.
The successful candidate must have the ability to lift and handle large and heavy materials and be able to work to tight deadlines as part of a team.
This is a permanent, full-time position in Lisfannon Co. Donegal (by Buncrana) and the working hours will be Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4.30pm, Friday 7am to 1.30pm.
*Travel and work throughout the ROI and UK will be required in this role*
