IDP launch new training calendar

Inishowen Development Partnership (IDP) is excited to announce the launch of its latest training calendar, offering a diverse range of employability and upskilling courses, as well as a dedicated community development programme for local groups and health and wellbeing courses.

This initiative is designed to enhance job prospects, build confidence, and strengthen community engagement across Inishowen.

The new training calendar features a variety of courses, which will run from January to June, aimed at equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today’s workforce.

From digital literacy and CV preparation to accredited training, these programmes are designed to meet the evolving needs of job seekers and those looking to advance their careers. Additionally, IDP’s community development training will provide local groups with the tools and expertise to create positive change in their communities.

Through the Sláintecare Healthy Communities Programme, IDP is also offering a range of health and wellbeing courses, including We Can Quit, Healthy Food Made Easy, Parenting Workshops and Social Prescribing.

These programmes focus on mental health awareness, stress management, healthy eating, and other key areas that promote personal resilience and a balanced lifestyle.

Speaking about the initiative, Sinead McDaid Enterprise Officer said everyone at IDP are committed to supporting individuals and community groups in reaching their full potential.

“Our training calendar has been carefully developed to offer relevant, accessible, and practical learning opportunities that will have a lasting impact on both personal and community growth,” said Sinead.

IDP encourages individuals, job seekers, and community organisations to explore the new training opportunities and take advantage of the supports available.”
