Local Development Week is an opportunity to celebrate the positive difference that community-led action makes across Inishowen. This year’s theme, “Local Action, Lasting Impact”, recognises the lasting change that happens when local people are supported with the resources, opportunities and partnerships needed to shape the future of their communities.
Throughout the week, we invite individuals, community groups and organisations to get involved in events and activities taking place across the region. It’s a chance to discover more about the work of Inishowen Development Partnership, learn about the programmes and supports available, and explore how we can work together to strengthen communities, create opportunities and improve quality of life throughout Inishowen.
Throughout the week, Inishowen Development Partnership (IDP) will host and support a range of events showcasing the breadth of work taking place across Inishowen and the impact it is having on communities throughout the peninsula.
The local programme includes events supporting employment, health and wellbeing, community development, climate action and lifelong learning.
