The Making Peaceful Change Project Worker plays a key role in developing, coordinating and contributing to the delivery of the PEACEPLUS Making Peaceful Change Programme across the border counties and Northern Ireland. Led by the Playhouse, the project’s partners are Inishowen Development Partnership (IDP) and Training Women’s Network (TWN).

Reporting to the IDP Team Lead for Community Development & Sustainability, and collaborating with the Project Coordinator of ChangeMakers Donegal, the successful candidate will work closely with the project partners. The programme will involve providing co-design, coordination, facilitation, and engagement of participants; working on a cross border basis for the delivery of the four programmes – Leaders for Peace Network, That’s Powerful, Operation Desperation, and Film and Learning Resources strands. We welcome candidates who are passionate about the role of the creative arts in peacebuilding, community resilience and social change.

Role Purpose

To deliver the IDP components of the Making Peaceful Change PEACEPLUS project through coordination, facilitation and community engagement. The role requires strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support multiple projects and collaborate across diverse teams.

Additional Information:

Salary: €40,614 per annum pro rata (DO2 – IDP Salary Point)
Contract: Fixed-term until June 2029 (subject to 3-month probation and continued funding)
Hours: Full-time (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm) with flexibility for evenings/weekends
Closing Date: Tuesday, 13th January 2026 at 12 noon
