DONEGAL WOMEN IN BUSINESS NETWORK (DWIBN) LAUNCH THEIR NEW WEBSITE AND ONLINE DIRECTORY
On Monday 13th October 2014, at the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny, the women in business in County Donegal launched their fresh new Brand, Website & Online Business Directory and hosted an Event to Showcase some of those Women already in business with over 20 exhibitors attending. The On-Line Directory was officially launched by Minister Joe McHugh. Check it out on www.womeninbusiness.com
The Event provided an opportunity to hear the stories of women in business from all industry sectors & of all age groups and they also spoke about the benefits of formal networking for their business. Businesses represented on the Discussion Panel included, Crafts, Interior Design and Retail, Letterkenny IT, Financial Services, Childcare, Communication, Speech and Drama.
Donegal Women in Business was set up 14 years ago to support all women who work in business and who own or manage a business in the county. With over 200 members, the Network is all about helping their members succeed. It supports members by:
- giving shared learning and best practice through regular seminars and workshops,
- providing opportunities for businesses to promote themselves,
- being a source of information, holding regular networking events, enabling members to build up useful business contacts.
- Offering a social side to Network members proving a welcome diversion from daily business life while being a great way for fun and getting to know new people.
