Experienced Bar Supervisor

The Red Door Country House are hiring an experienced bar supervisor as well as full time and part-time bar tenders to work in their award winning bar and restaurant.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support General Manager and Restaurant Manager and communicate effectively with department teams.
  • Ensure that all guests are greeted in a warm and courteous fashion and tended to in a professional manner
  • To serve beverages efficiently and in accordance with the company standard of presentation.
  • Always be familiar with product offerings (i.e menu, specials, wine list, beverages on offer, etc) to be able to make recommendations and to actively upsell.
  • Ensure bar presentation standards are consistently achieved and bar areas are maintained to th highest standard.
  • Assist with monthly beverage stocktake.
  • Assist with stock ordering and stock rotation.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with strong knowledge of food and beverage.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and efficiently under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours required for the job to include evening and weekend work.
  • To operate the till in line with till operation and cash handling procedures.
  • Proficient English language to include reading and writing.
