Mart Drover/Clerk
Applicants are invited to express their interest in being considered for the position of Mart Drover/Clerk at Inishowen Mart, Carndonagh, Co Donegal.
Reporting to the Mart Manager, the successful applicant will have responsibility for delivering an excellent service.
Key Responsibilities include:
✓ Booking in sheep and cattle for marts.
✓ Showing cattle and sheep in the ring for sale.
✓ Ensuring cattle and sheep are returned to holding pens safely.
✓ Ensuring all stakeholders follow current rules & procedures.
✓ Undertake cleaning of mart as instructed.
✓ Rostrum duties.
To be successful in the role requires individuals to be:
➢ Positive and flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude.
➢ Good communication skills.
➢ Able to learn quickly.
➢ Ability to work well with others and take instructions.
➢ Experience handling livestock.
This part time casual position is suitable for someone who has experience handling livestock.
