Applicants must demonstrate an ability to work well as part of a team, display strong work ethic, be flexible and demonstrate positive interpersonal and communication skills. Relevant experience of working with students with multiple and complex needs in post-primary school and working with a variety of care needs is desirable. Knowledge and experience of working with ICT and as part of an SNA team is also desirable.
The minimum required standard of education for appointment to an SNA post is: A QQI level 3 major qualification on the national framework of qualifications or a minimum of three grade Ds in the Junior Cert or equivalent.
This is a full-time vacancy commencing on August 31st 2021. The position will be filled pending approval by the Department of Education and in accordance with DE regulations, the Board of Management of Carndonagh Community School and subject to Garda Vetting requirements. The selection committee will form a panel from the candidates interviewed to fill any temporary and substitute positions that may become available.
