Carn Vets seek a VET for their mixed practice in Carndonagh, on the beautiful Inishowen Peninsula, Co Donegal, just 30 minutes from Derry. XLVet member practice.
5 vet, 3 nurse team, 50% LA / 50% SA. LA client base is mainly suckler, beef & sheep with a small but growing number of dairy clients. Minimal equine work.
One in five rota (1 in 2 in spring), with a flexible four day week.
SA ultrasound, dental machine, orthopaedic equipment, DR X-ray system , Haem / Biochem machines, gas anaesthesia & monitoring equipment. Laser therapy.
Purpose built on-site large animal facilities with in-house faecal testing & lab, LA ultrasound, fertility testing equipment etc.
CPD, VCI , AVSPNI & VDS paid.
Vehicle and accommodation can be arranged.
Excellent backup & mentoring for both large and small animal cases, caseload can be tailored to suit preference.
Both new grads and experienced vets are welcome to apply.
