Social Inclusion Transport Fund 2019

Inishowen Development Partnership (IDP) in collaboration with Local Link Donegal, funded by the National Transport Authority are accepting applications from local community groups seeking small grants towards transport supports for social inclusion activities.

Applications are now being accepted by IDP for those who wish to be considered for support through the fund by completing and returning the attached, Form 1 – Application Form for SI transport fund”.

It is important to note that only approved operators can be used by the applicants – see list attached, Form 2 – Approved Transport (Bus) Operator List.

Before submitting your application, please read and refer to the eligibility guidance note and specific conditions which will attach to any offer, outlined in Form 3 – Eligibility & Specific Conditions of Offer.” Please note specifically that any offer will depend upon:

a). A clear fit between the journeys planned and the eligibility criteria for the fund.

b). A clear statement of need by the group as part of the request submitted

c). Transport requested completing on or before 30th September 2019

d). All trips to be taken between 1st May 2019 to 30th September 2019.  Any transport undertaken before or after these dates will be not be eligible for grant.

Please do not organise or arrange any transport with operators prior to receiving a “letter of offer’” from IDP as transport which has not been approved in writing, will not be supported or paid for through the fund.
